Short Sales in the Las Vegas Valley
These are all homes facing forclosure around the valley. The owners are upside down and can't afford the payments. The bank may be willing to take less for these homes rather than going through the forclosure process. This process can sometimes take weeks or more to even get a reply from the bank. Only about 15% of short sales actually close. We would not reccomend these if you need to be in a property quickly. We can help guide you through this process. There are a lot of factors involved. Is there a first and a second, are they with different banks, is the mortgage company the holder of the note or just the servicer,is there a hardship to justify a short sale and most importantly is the listing agent experienced in getting these done. If you have time to wait for one you can find some nice deals out there.
